Business Transaction Advisor
After graduation from the University of Pennsylvania and two years in the Army, Rick worked for fifteen years with several companies at successive levels of responsibility in industrial engineering. In 1968, he started Management Consulting Services, Inc., serving small and mid-sized, family-owned businesses in the areas of strategic planning, industrial engineering, human resources and management advisory services.
In 1992, while continuing his consulting practice, Rick started as a Group Chair for Vistage Worldwide, Inc., forming and facilitating groups of private advisory boards for CEOs, Presidents and business owners that meet monthly to increase the effectiveness and enhance the members’ lives. In 2005, Rick received the Vistage Cope Award, performance recognition given annually to one Chair worldwide.
Rick serves and has served on a variety of local Boards, including The Fulton Theater, Assets Lancaster, Ware Center Advisory Council, The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, and YMCA. He has served as National President - Association of Management Consultants; Philadelphia Chapter President - Institute of Management Consultants; President - Rotary Club of Lancaster. For forty years, Rick has served on the Alumni Secondary Schools Committee as an interviewer of UPenn applicants.
Rick has resided in central Pennsylvania since 1966, and looks forward to continuing his work with local businesses through LINK.
