Over the course of 30 years as educators, administrators, and an area director, Tellis' parents taught him the value of dedication, determination, collaboration, integrity and leadership.
While starring as a special team’s player at Hampton University for four years, Tellis managed to work with a non-profit organization as their web designer and assistant grant writer. He was also instrumental in hosting foreign ambassadors who visited the institution in regards to the “Textbooks to Africa” initiative. He went on to earn a degree in Psychology and Masters’ in Education. After graduating in 2002, Tellis went on to work in the field of Education for several years before pursing an opportunity as an entrepreneur. After starting and selling several businesses, Tellis found success back in the school system running and operating as a Food Service Liaison. He was able to grow the business from feeding one school breakfast and lunch, to now feeding thirteen schools in five years.
Tellis is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He and his family moved to North Carolina in 2019. He is a world traveler and has visited almost all 50 states in the USA. He also enjoys going on bike trail rides with his wife and kids, golf, bowling, basketball and ice cream. He is a wealth of knowledge and a phenomenal asset to any organization and can help you reach your goal.
