Darin Sills

Darin Sills brings more than 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, and business analytics across the media, technology, consumer, and subscription industries. Throughout his career, Darin has partnered with senior executives to evaluate business performance, develop growth strategies, assess investments, and translate financial information into actionable business decisions.

Darin recently served as Director of Subscription Forecasting & Planning at Hearst Media, where he led forecasting, financial planning, and long-range modeling for a $400 million digital subscription portfolio spanning 20 consumer brands. Previously, he held financial leadership roles with Paramount Global, L'Oréal, Discovery, and Comcast. His experience includes revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, profitability analysis, P&L management, financial modeling, and strategic planning.

Darin's financial background provides a valuable perspective for both business owners and prospective buyers. He understands the financial and operational factors that drive business value, including revenue growth, margins, customer retention, pricing, expenses, and cash flow. He also brings prior experience as a successful real estate agent in Washington, DC, giving him firsthand experience with client relationships, negotiations, and significant financial transactions. This combination of financial expertise and transactional experience allows Darin to take a thoughtful, analytical, and client-focused approach to helping business owners maximize the value of their businesses and helping buyers identify and evaluate attractive acquisition opportunities.

Darin holds a B.A. in Economics, an M.B.A. with a focus in Strategy, and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Originally from Washington, DC, Darin now lives in the New York City area. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, traveling, live music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
