Rick Johnson

Rick is a seasoned business broker with extensive experience in developing contracting, service, engineering, and manufacturing businesses for export markets across New Zealand, Australia, Europe, the UK, Asia, and the USA. Having held senior corporate roles in medium to large entities in New Zealand and directorships and advisory positions for companies in the UK and Australia, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every transaction.

With diverse industry experience in manufacturing, management training, mining, quarrying, and various 24-hour engineering and service delivery companies, Rick also boasts over 20 years of senior strategic and operational experience in New Zealand's electrical distribution and contracting industry.

Utilising his strengths in strategy development, people management, service delivery, business-to-business relationships, and profit execution, Rick specialises in sales, mergers, acquisitions (going concern and shareholdings), and divestments of businesses valued at $500,000 and above. Rick focuses particularly on the import, export, distribution, manufacturing, engineering, and service-related sectors.

Based in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty area for most of his career, Rick has built an extensive network of contacts and a vast business background. His ability to connect buyers with the right businesses, and commitment to earning his vendors the best possible return on their investment, is unparalleled.

Outside of work Rick enjoys golf, watching most sports, a couple of cold beers, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
